Went to West Hove, but instead of finding groomed lines of solid swell it was close knit messy stuff. Collective thinking is that the SE winds overnight have produced a sh*t short period wave, mixing with the southerly windswell of dawn. Nevertheless, the waves further out were still get the tops whipped off, but looked more like onshore conditions despite cross shore wind. Rigged the 5m but then noted wind swing to SW and drop to bugger all as I waited to launch. Wallowed out anyway, taking froth burgers on the head, but after about 10 waterstarts made it out, to find no wind out the back either!! Never mind, gybed and wallowed back in with one swoop on a wave!

Always good to get cold though and hopefully its filling in again now.
